I was commissioned by Instagram to design and illustrate their From Where I Stand 2016 campaign mural. Installed in front of the iconic Flatiron Building in New York City, the weekend before the 2016 Presidential Election, the interactive mural encouraged people to talk about the issues affecting them. The mural prompted the audience to use their Instagram stories in designated areas and encouraged people to go out and vote.
Collaborated on this project with my illustrator and photographer husband Patrick Rafanan.
